I am very excited to be a part of a two-person exhibition in Mexico City opening April 9, 2013. Mathias Kessler has curated this show to bring together the artistic process and work of myself and Aldo Chaparro Winder.

For the past 10 years, Mathias has observed our studio practices – mine in New York and Aldo’s in Mexico City – and realized though we had never met that there was a striking similarity in what he would call a Zeitgeist. To him, it was a seemingly inexplicable connection in time and spirit, one that created a two-tiered body of work without any exchange of ideas or knowledge. Our work, with its similar aesthetic output and concerns for architecture, minimalism, time/space, and interaction with the viewer led Mathias to pull together this exhibition.

I will be heading to Mexico City soon to create new work. More to come!
